Community Roots

Resilient Pathways is more than a private practice — it's rooted in a long-standing commitment to community mental health, reducing barriers to care, and reducing the stigma often associated with seeking support.

Resilient Pathways' approach is shaped by years of direct experience in community mental health and crisis support, and that commitment continues today. Ongoing collaboration with local mental health providers and community-based initiatives remains a core part of how this practice stays connected to — and invested in — the broader community it serves.

Resilient Pathways is also actively involved in critical incident stress management work, providing debriefings and peer support to first responder departments. With roots in the first responder community, this work carries a personal understanding of that world.

Beyond formal debriefings, Resilient Pathways brings a softer, more approachable presence into the first responder community — often with dogs by its side. Research continues to show the role dogs can play in emotional regulation, connection, and healing, helping open the door to conversations that might not otherwise happen in a field where the stigma around mental health can run deep.

This is the heart of Resilient Pathways: showing up, staying connected, and building a community where mental health support is reachable for professionals who serve others, and for anyone navigating their own path toward healing.
